Plan Your Visit

We’re glad you’re thinking about visiting. Here’s what you need to know.

Where are you located?

3770 Old Highway 100, Tallapoosa, GA 30176.

When do you meet?

Sundays at 11:00 AM. We start on time and the service runs about an hour.

We also meet on Wednesday nights during our spring and fall semesters. Learn more about Wednesday nights →

What should I wear?

Whatever you’re comfortable in. Most people at New Plainview dress casually. Jeans are perfectly normal. You won’t feel out of place.

What is the service like?

We sing together, we pray together, and we hear the Bible preached. Our pastor preaches through books of the Bible passage by passage. The music is congregational, meaning the whole church sings. We’re not trying to put on a performance. We’re trying to worship God together. On second Sundays, the service also includes the Lord’s Supper.

Will I be put on the spot?

No. Someone will probably say hello to you because that’s the kind of church we are, but we will never embarrass you or call attention to you in the service.

Where do my children go?

We have a nursery for infants and toddlers available every Sunday. On most Sundays, children pre-K through fourth grade are dismissed during the service for their own age-appropriate teaching time. On second Sundays, we practice family worship, where everyone stays in the service together. Pre-K and under still have a room available on those Sundays. We also have a wiggle room in the lobby for parents with little ones who need to step out.

Do I need to bring anything?

A Bible if you have one. Our pastor refers to it throughout the service and you’ll want to follow along. If you don’t have one or forget yours, we’ll get you one for free.

What about security?

We take the safety of everyone on our campus seriously, and we have security measures and personnel in place.

What is the music like?

We strongly prefer congregational singing, which emphasizes the gathered body singing praise to God with one voice, over performed music. We sing hymns and modern songs that are biblically faithful, theologically rich, and singable. Hear what we sing on our Spotify playlist.

What happens after the service?

People tend to stick around. On second Sundays especially, we share a meal together after the service. You’re welcome to stay and eat with us. It’s one of the best ways to get to know people.
